About

Hi, I’m Rob!

In my professional career, I serve as a Fractional Director of Growth for the companies I work with.

With over a decade of experience, I focus on helping owners of small to medium sized businesses with great people, products and missions… troubleshoot their toughest sticking points and maximize opportunities.

Oftentimes, we find some of the greatest leverage in the personal stuff as well.

Business and Life can work in harmony, or they can be a detriment to each other.

Would you go watch a concert where the band is not playing in harmony with each other?

No, right?

So why would you accept a life and career that is out of harmony?

I excel in fostering alignment, clarifying critical problems, and improving the effectiveness between people and technology.

If you’re ready to become more tuned in with your own center of infinite knowledge and wisdom… I would love to connect to see how we can work together!

Stay Connected

Speaking Engagements

I don’t teach or preach because the retention of new information is surprisingly difficult, the inspiration fades quickly, and the ROI just really isn’t worth the cost and effort.

I prefer to host intimate interactions with collaborative groups of key people in an organization.

Feel free to reach out and request references from previous clients who were able to benefit from these interactive gatherings, to see if it’s a good fit for you and your team.

C-Suite and Departmental Consulting

I offer a comprehensive array of consulting services, and I pride myself on delivering innovative solutions that drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.

Here are some of my key areas of focus:

t

Defining Nirvana

Most of my clients never ask themselves, “What Are We REALLY Optimizing For?”

Once we know the true “Why” behind every single action you or your business takes… then we can start reverse-engineering the best path to achieve:

  • A better way to serve your market
  • Expansion in to new markets
  • More energy at the end of your day
  • Planning a strategic exit
  • Finding companies to acquire
  • More free time with friends and family
  • More/Less travel
  • Working from home

Strategy

Strategic thinking and planning helps you identify the end game, timelines, resources, and overcoming complex challenges.

Sustainable growth can be a certainty when you:

  • Eliminate vanity metrics.
  • Define good vs. bad growth.
  • Understand the correlation between time, risk, upside potential, and downside potential.
  • Help all leaders of departments become better strategic thinkers.
  • Share the end game at the proper scheduled intervals.
  • Adjust and pivot plans together for maximium alignment and momentum.

Selling The Business

For all the hard work you put into building and sustaining your business, wouldn’t it make sense to maximize your sale value?

Not only for yourslef, but also for all the families of your closest colleagues who trusted in your vision and hitched their wagons to yours for years (possibly their entire careers)?

Here are some things to consider:

  • Exit the CEO before putting the business up for sale, which is a leading cause of decreased sale value.
  • Increase the value by acquiring businesses that help solidify all the service providers surrounding your companies core offering.
  • Realize there are many reasons a buyer buys: they’re bored, they want more money, they want prestige, they want to dominate the industry. Leverage the intangibles.
  • Find a buyer who best fits your terms in case you want to stay on as a board member or advisor.

Sales

If you’re in business you’ve obviously done sales.

Have you ever considered investing in improving your sales process?

For instance you can:

  • Sharpen your team with sales training.
  • Replace or implement sales software to free up time.
  • Have better commission incentives.
  • Have better referral systems and incentives.
  • Promote your sales superstars, and re-train the low performers.
  • Cross-train your sales team to sell other people’s non-competitive products.

Marketing

Targeted marketing strategies can enhance brand visibility, attract customers, and drive sales growth with massive leverage.

Effective marketing is simply “Sales Multiplied”.

That means whatever you discovered in your most effective selling techniques in your human-to-human interactions, can be redeployed and integrated into your marketing approaches.

The relattionship between marketing and sales is critical to a companies growth, so it’s wise to foster clear and productive communication between departments.

Operational Improvement

The sky is truly the limit when it comes to optimizing workflow, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity.

Each department should strive to to get everything they can out of their resources, budgets, and energy.

Some areas to consider:

  • Better management of projects and timelines using technology.
  • Internal collaboration channels (not email).
  • Data organization and retrieval.
  • Process automation and/or documentation.
  • Everyone owning efficiency improvement KPI’s.

Hopefully this overview gets you excited about the possibilities, and stimulates some new ideas to go implement right away!
